Why I Don't Have Cable

Last night I found myself sitting in a hotel room with nothing to do and some free time on my hands.  I had already read the one book I brought with me, and I had no desire to watch any of the movies I had on my iPhone.  Since the room had a television with cable, I decided to see what was on.  

After a VH1 marathon of celebrity rejects (Celebrity Fit Camp and Celebrity Rehab), I can see why I don't have cable.  What a colossal joke!  I was so underwhelmed by my options, even when factoring in that I was watching television on a Sunday night.  

I have to wonder why people pay so much money a month to watch shows like this.
