May Sweeps

My life is pretty much busy with things besides television, so I admit that May sweeps is not the experience it once was.  And that's not a bad thing.  But, there are still my favorites that I watch on a regular basis and I wanted to see how they amped it up for the season finales.

• The Amazing Race: The race was truly unamazing this season.  I didn't care for any of the racing teams.  In fact, they pretty much all annoyed me.  I admit, I was surprised by the winning team.  Usually, the winning team can be spotted somewhat early, but this time, the winners had only won one previous leg.  Talk about under the radar.
• Desperate Housewives: I had an on again, off again relationship with the show this year.  I did come back to watch John Barrowman in a role that redeemed him after the whole Torchwood devistation.  It wasn't bad.  I'm actually curious as to what will be happening on Wisteria Lane next year.
• Brothers and Sisters: I still love this family and all of their quirkiness. This finale had all of the highs and (Rob) Lowes I would expect in their finale.  And there's that pesky rumor that next year will be a one year jump to the future.  Interesting.

I have to watch the Modern Family finale still, and Glee doesn't end until June.
